Whether you are new to homeschooling or you have been doing it for years, it may seem like you are always on a mission to learn more about how to make homeschooling better for your family. I know I do! I admit part of the fun is all of the researching, looking through catalogs, reading homeschooling magazines, participating in online forums, attending seminars, etc. We started homeschooling in 2000 without a real clue as to what this decision would ultimately mean for our family. So every year, I dig a little deeper and find more and more clues as to what this mission called homeschooling is all about for us. It has been a great journey so far!
Browse through the left sidebar for our homeschooling articles, tips, and suggestions. As we continue this journey, there will be more to add I am sure. If you have something you think I should add, please let me know! Below you will find links to all of our favorite Homeschooling Resources and Websites. |

Our Favorite Homeschooling Resources & Websites
This is a listing of homeschooling products and websites that I have found to be the most helpful in our homeschooling. It has taken some time for me to feel confident in what we do and what we use for our homeschool. To describe our homeschooling style or method, I guess you would say we are a mix of Classical / Charlotte Mason / Thomas Jefferson Education homeschoolers - eclectic homeschoolers! The best advice I have when it comes to choosing homeschooling curriculums is to try as much as possible to choose materials that will teach you how to be a more effective teacher. Those have been the keepers and best investment for me. Besides that, invest in a library card and lots of good living books for you and your children to share. And, no matter what age your children are, always make time for read alouds. (Let me know if any of these links have expired.)
